This is a one of a kind experience riding an electric skateboard on American Beach. Not only do you get a chance to see the largest sand dune in Florida, but you get to do it all while riding the island in style. We'll finish your experience cruising on the beach while everyone watches. Included in your tour will be picture and videos taken via Gopro by your tour guide. You get to sit back and ride.

If you would like to reserve an Electric Scooter instead of the Skateboard please let us know as soon as you book. This will allow us to set an Scooter aside for your adventure (Scooters are not allowed on the Beach).
You need to be on time and on time means 15 minutes before scheduled departure. If you cannot make it at least 15 minutes prior to departure time, DO NOT BOOK this tour. We have a strict on time policy so that each rider will have enough time to demo their Skateboard or Scooter
No shows will be charged full price, if you arrive late you will be charged the full price of your booking and you will forfeit your spot on tour. NO EXCEPTIONS

What To Expect

"Nana" is the largest sand dune in Florida!! We'll briefly stop here

American Beach

The first home on American Beach purchased and owned by Abraham Lincoln Lewis, we'll briefly pass by and discuss the rich history of American Beach. Along this stretch we will also visit the Franklintown Chapel.

American Beach is home to several wildlife, turtles are usually out and about during our tour.

Last stop will be the BEACH!! That's right, we'll cruise on beautiful American Beach kick up some sand and enjoy the amazing view of the water and possibly see dolphins.

The tour was awesome and so much fun. Hugh was amazing and full of knowledge about the history of the island. Something I would definitely recommend for anyone and everyone who wants to have a great time. I'm 46 and haven't rode a skateboard in probably 20something years and had so much fun I've been looking into purchasing one of my own. And my 16 year old son that went hasn't stopped talking about it yet. Amazing time.

I would recommend this to anyone! My husband did a great job finding us this activity. Hugh is great! He is very patient if you don't get the hang of it and makes you feel comfortable. He gave a great tour as well! We were also surprised he took photos and videos throughout the tour. We saw plenty of tortoises! After Hugh gave us great recommendations to go to after around Jacksonville. We followed his advice and it was all a blast! The only downside to this tour was that my husband now wants to buy electric skateboards even more now lol. We have no room in our apartment for those.

If you are a local of Amelia Island and have kids you definitely need to check out this tour!!! We had so much fun and learned some History about American Beach. We will definitely be bringing other family and friends with us next time.
