American Beach Kid-Friendly Electric Skateboard & E-Scooter Tour

Overview

This is a one-of-a-kind experience riding an electric skateboard on Amelia Island. Not only do you get a chance to visit our beautiful beaches, but you get to do it all while riding the island in style. We occasionally stop mid ride to find shark teeth near the jetties. We'll finish your experience cruising on the beach while everyone watches. Included in your tour at no additional cost will be 4K pictures and videos taken via Gopro by your tour guide. This allows you to fully enjoy the experience while we capture the moments for you.

We rented 8 skateboards and could not have been happier! The entire family from Grandparents to our 6 year old who is on the spectrum loved every minute. My son even asked if we could do skateboards again when we were heading to the beach the next day! The video is also such a special treat! We didn't have to worry about taking photos...we just had fun!

We had a great time during our 30-minute beach ride! We were two adults and two kids age 11. Hugh gave us all instructions and even had us do a family race sitting down on the boards. The kids ended up sitting on the boards "Mario Kart" style and my husband and I stood up. Hugh took pictures and filmed all of us with his GoPro. A day after our session he sent us a compilation video and the pictures! Great family memory and a fun time!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This experience was great. Not only is the beach beautiful and perfect for the ride, but the guide is amazing. He had some fun stops planned with short challenges along the route and his energy really added to our experience. He even DJ'd for us along the route, took free pictures and video, and gave us some waters at the end! I'd say this experience was very similar to having ridden horses along Virginia Beach with the feeling of flying and the calmness of the waves crashing along side. Beautiful! I'm almost 50 with five knee surgeries, so I was worried about any falls. You can go as slow as you want, so I started slow. Quickly, I was trying to max out the speed and loving it! I did purposely jump off one time, but the landing was easy and soft as I jogged out of it. Living in VA Beach, it's hard to find new beach experiences on vacation for my daughter who is 13. This exceeded expectations for sure. She took to it immediately and neither of us had any issues getting the hang of it. This was a big highlight of my daughter's week and we both wanted it to last forever. We'll definitely do this again next time down! Thanks to our guide for the great experience and excellent set of free photos and videos!
