It is a perfect location for families, 20min away only from New York ! We have been able to entertain the 2 years old with affordable activities, and during his very long nap, we did some shopping. There are still some empty spots but still worth the day to spend there. Highly recommended for a full day or 2!

zero stars. I rarely, if EVER, spread negative reviews about a company but I am FURIOUS. Right before the pandemic, I purchased 7 tickets to Nickelodeon Universe right when they opened. My kids were super excited and the tickets were pretty expensive. You had to pick a date for your trip, which we did. Then, the world shut down. I called and was assured that I could transfer my tickets whenever I wanted and just had to pay a $5 transfer fee per ticket when doing so. Ok, fine. It is not super close so we obviously needed a long weekend or summer to do this. I called today to finally reschedule our trip and was basically told that our tickets had expired and “tough luck” in so many words. I read them the email upon purchase where it says nothing about expiration, reintegrated the conversation I had with their associate after the fact about transferable tickets, and so forth. I had to ask for a manager which is really, really not me. Countless supervisors and phone calls later (the staff is incredibly rude) and they still won’t refund or transfer tickets. Many places that closed during the pandemic added days to their customers season passes and/or offered other incentives. This is not a small business, and they offered me nothing. Whatever you do, do not patronize American Dream and Nickelodeon Universe. We are basically out $700+ with nothing but a “yea, sucks for you” attitude from this company. **Update- was just called back and was told I could re-purchase my tickets for 25% off. So buy tickets a SECOND time with a small discount. 🤯🤯

The rides are pretty fun but my family had to separate for most of the day so the big kids and little kids could both go on rides. Quite a few of the attractions were not running. Huge groups took up most of the seating with their bags instead of getting lockers. They say no outside food but most people were walking around with their own food so don’t hesitate to bring it. The food inside the attraction was gross and soggy (but the fudge we bought was good). TILT was pretty cool. Overall an okay experience, but for the money I would probably rather Six Flags. I’m glad we came once but don’t see myself ever returning.
