Interesting, educational and surprising. So much to see and learn. We went to the imax style theater to see the volcano film and spent another two hours wandering at will and still had not really scratched the surface. So much to see, what an treasure.

Spent three enjoyable hours at the museum. Helpful info: 1. It’s pay what you can when buying tickets in person. You’ll be paying full price if purchasing online. 2. For families with kids 10 years old and up - go with the guided group. Younger kids may not have patience to do the tour (it’s approximately an hour and a half with stops at different parts of the museum) The tour is free and lead by one of the volunteers and begins at the entrance of the Bernard Family Hall of North American Mammals on the first floor. This is a general tour and covers a bit of everything. Don’t be confused by the fact that it begins at mammals. We were and information we got from stuff about the tour wasn’t very helpful. For more specific tours check the museum’s website. Out tour guide - sorry for not remembering her name - was awesome, knowledgeable, professional and knew how to make the stories entertaining. My family thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. Recommended. Overall time spent - 3 hours.

American Museum of Natural History and the Rose Centre were just amazing. A great example of how to do this kinda stuff right. One ticket gets you in for both and it's really worth paying the extra for the planet show as it really is next level. Great exhibits to be fair I could have done another 5-6 others here today. Really recommenced.
