The Museum of Natural History in Manhattan is an absolute blast! From dinosaurs to wildlife dioramas, every exhibit is a journey through Earth's history. Interactive displays and friendly staff make learning about science and nature a joy. A must-visit for anyone curious about the world around us!

The museum is huge with so much to see and do. We bolted on the planetarium experience which was really good and educational. The gem and minerals and dinosaur sections were also fascinating although very busy on the Sunday we visited. What I don’t understand is the over complicated payment systems they have. Pre-booked tickets had a longer queue than non pre-booked because tickets had to be validated, QR coded versions issued and then scanned, what’s the point of pre-booking then? The website says no large backpacks but plenty of people had them. Lunch in the food court charged by the 1/4 pound but gave no way to check the weight before paying to see if what you had chosen was over or underweight. It all just seemed really over-complicated and not very visitor friendly in direct contrast to the London version, although maybe I’m biased!!
