We went at 4.30pm and it was quite quiet, which made it a more pleasurable experience. It is free to visit after 4.30 and if you start at the top floor you can cover a lot of ground during that last hour. We saw everything we wanted to Also, you finish on the ground floor, and there is a subway station directly under the museum. so you can make a quick exit when required.

I came here in my own and had a very entertaining time. Some exhibits were great, specially in the new building. There are some that you have to pay extra and you get your moneys worth as is the case of the planetarium and some are not as in the immersive experience. The latter is ok but the sound is awful and the parent let kids run around yelling which deters the technology. The food court was awful with mainly junk food and the app is confusing to use. The gemstones and rock display was very good as well as the insectarium

Went my 18 year old daughter. She is a history/museum lover. We were there from open to close and barely got it all in. So many amazing exhibits to see and explore.
