Amish Experience Visit-In-Person Tour

Overview
Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

Truly outstanding. Thank you for allowing us to experience first hand and share everyday life. Friendly and a real chance to share and ask questions. Kent is a great guide with a wealth of knowledge.

The visit-in-person experience was one of the top highlights of my family's Lancaster County trip. We visited an Amish dairy farm, leatherwork business, and a private home. At all establishments, the Amish hosts were very gracious and friendly. Our tour guide, Jim, also did a fantastic job of explaining the history, customs, and practices of our Amish brothers and sisters.

This was a phenomenal experience and worth every penny. The Amish families were so kind to answer any questions we had and to teach us about their particular day to day or business. The tour guide, DeAnna, is extremely knowledgeable and it was good to see how she had a great personal relationship with each family. The trip was very laid back and never felt rushed. It literally felt like we were just out visiting friends. I highly recommend this experience!

Whenever we describe the tour as a "three-hour-tour" - which it is - you can always sense people wondering if this is going to be like Gilligan's Island. But I'm happy to say we've never had a tour not return!
