Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

We have been to Lancaster many times over my lifetime (used to live in NJ--currently IN). WE have never done any tour such as this one. It was a great experience to be able to go to their workplace and see how and what they do, and to actually sit in one of their homes and ask anything you want. They were very kind and open. Something you use to dream about doing became reality. We enjoyed our tour guide as well...she is great friends of those families she took us to visit with and she is very knowledgeable. ( DeAnna) Would highly recommend doing this tour if you have any interest in how the Amish live their life at all!

What an amazing view into the lives of the wonderful Amish people! My wife and I were the only people on the tour, and this was a major highlight of our vacation. The time we spent with each family was precious, and we learned so much about their way of life. We will cherish the memories of this experience forever. Our tour guide provided valuable and entertaining commentary between stops, and helped to guide conversation with the families we met. This is an incredible experience. We would have repeated this tour during our stay if we'd had time, as different families are visited each tour.

Our tour guide, Beth, was the best! I so enjoyed that she told us all the things we wanted to learn, without us having to ask. I thought she did a perfect job, and she was so knowledgeable; yet she intuited when it was best to let others speak as well. I found the whole tour enlightening, educational and fun. Thanks to the wonderful Amish families, the Amish Experience, and the other people in our group.
