Amish Experience Visit-In-Person Tour

Overview
Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

We were the only couple in the tour which allowed us to really ask lots lots of questions and really talk with the families we met. Our guide Jay was excellent giving Is lots of background information as well as some history of the area and the Amish.

Kent was our tour guide and he was great! Also the Amish people we visited were great! We met Alvin, Ike, and Sara and Samuel. They were all so nice and friendly and happy to answer our questions to help us learn more about their culture, religion, and trades.
