We set out on what was supposed to be a 3 hour tour with no idea where we were headed.
Some how that sounded familiar but before I could worry about it we were off with the power of four V8 engines with 425 horsepower each!
Along the way, our sweet host Brooke had so much information about the lives of whales that I could probably pass as an expert now!
She kept me on my toes about how sweet and family oriented and emotional Orcas are when I mentioned the contrast of seeing them hunt seals with great skill in some videos I've seen.
Not only are these whales very capable hunters but they are also extremely social and family oriented! They really take care of each other.
As she was explaining this, we got to see a couple of families out hunting and being social up close and personal!! But not too close to disturb them. They keep it professional.
We stopped for photos of breaching Orcas, perched Eagles, a playful otter and cute baby seals being silly in the safety of the shallow water next to a large rock as the hungry whales swam close by.
The weather also turned out perfect for our adventure!
Sean, our other host, had plenty of information about rocks and geographic history.
Both hosts were happily answering as many questions as our group could throw at them, and even sounded like they knew what they were talking about!
If you decide to take this tour, you won't be disappointed but do some research so you have good questions for Brooke and Sean!
