We left at 3:30 and arrived back at Anacortes around 8 pm. Every one of the crew members were knowledgeable, attentive and easy to communicate with. It was an awesome experience!

Did not see Orcas, only saw a grey whale and some sea lions, does not worth the price. Didn’t see anything interesting during majority of the time

Glad you saw whales on your tour. Gray whales are uncommon here so in many ways you are lucky. We offer two different tours here. If you only wanted to see Orcas we have the "Orca Only" tour where we specialize in finding Killer Whales. That trip has a longer range and time allocation to Guarantee Orcas. On the Classic Whale & Orca Tour with Guaranteed Whales that you booked we look for any whales that are in the region. Gray Whales are pretty rare here especially this time of year. On both our tours we frequently encounter other wildlife such as Harbor Seals, Bald Eagles, Puffins, and even rarely encounter the Steller's Sea Lions you got to see (Steller's can weigh up to 2400lbs and can be bigger than a Bison, so most people are excited to see them). On both tours we cruise through the dynamic scenery of the San Juan Islands and every trip takes a different path, so I am sorry to hear that you didn't find any of our unique wildlife or beautiful landscape interesting, but honestly if you find any whale, sealions, sea birds and the beauty of a sunny day in the San Juans to be a 1 star experience, then you might want to reflect on what the disappointing part of the day really was.

Drew, Sam, Seth, and Tom were excellent guides on this wonderful tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The new ship was great and very clean with snacks and food onboard. The negative was having to pay additional for parking for the tour. No discount for handicap or senior parking.
