2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

This was an exceptional day. Our Guide Shane was an incredible guide throughout our trip. He had so much information and educated us not just about geology but also about the plight of the Native Americans. Carlo our guide at Antelope Canyon was also very informative about the formation and continued efforts to maintain Antelope Canyon for our viewing amazement. Carlos was thoughtful enough to take photos with our cameras/cellphones of us in certain areas of the canyon. The trip to Horshoe Bend was a bit physically challenging but Shane made the trek with us to continue explanation and education about the area. I highly recommend this day long excursion. It is absolutely worth every penny even if you don't have the great quality of guides we had. It is beyond explanation....incredibly beautiful and fascinating. Do not miss it .....breath taking.

Jen was an awesome guide and provided a lot of information to the group. A lot of time on this tour is spent driving to locations. Horseshoe Bend is an incredible site but we did not spend much time there- 15 minutes. Lake Powell Dam was kind of neat to go visit but wish we would have not gone there and spent more time at Horseshoe Bend. Antelope Canyon had a long wait to get inwe waited 1 hour but was well worth it. Bring your camera. This is not for the faint of heart- a lot of steep steps to descend and climb and areas to climb without hand rails. I have 2 teenagers that enjoyed it but I would not recommend this tour for young children.

We went to several places while we were in Arizona, and this trip was at the top of the list for wow factor. We had the most amazing pictures from Antelope Canyon, and breathtaking views of Horseshoe Bend.
We also saw the oldest operating trading post in the nation and shopped!, and ate lunch at the dam.
Gavin, our tour guide was full of fun facts and interesting stories.
