What To Expect

Navajo Nation

Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend

Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.

Antelope Canyon

At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where you’ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

I recommend this well organized tour, booking was easy and you can park right next to the Tour Office in Flagstaff. Our tour guide Zoe was a safe driver took time to explain areas of interestand answered questions from passengers. The mini bus was well appointed and comfortable with lots of room. Well Done Team

Our family of 7 had a private tour with Ryan to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon on our last day in Arizona. It was outstanding! Ryan was very knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable! One of our family members was 79 and unable to make the hike to Horseshoe Bend. He kept her company while we hiked. He supplied plenty of water and snacks and a great picnic lunch at Lake Powell. We had a memorable and wonderful day!

Matt. Matt made this trip fantastic. A wonderfully personable guide, full of interesting relevant knowledge. We had a fully stocked cooler and snack basket for the long 2+ hour ride in a comfortable clean van. Horseshoe canyon was the better of the stops in my opinion. Antelope canyon was great for pictures but the tour was agonizingly slow. After a long hot day, Matt again had much to offer on the ride home. Our family would definitely request him as a guide if we did it again. A very well run operation.
