Matt was a great guide and story teller. He also arranged with Mario at the canyon for a memorable tour their, with a solo on a wood flute from Mario.

Pros: Expert tour guide who does all the driving, personable, knowledgeable and open to questions. Water readily available. Beautiful view of Horseshoe Bend and landscape. Antelope Canyon is also very majestic. Tim, our Navajo guide, very knowledgeable & helpful with beautiful pictures. Activity level 2-3, gravel walkway to Horseshoe Bend, still need sturdy shoes to climb on rocks & uneven terrain. Cons: super long drive from Sedona (although broken up in two 90 mins drives - driver provided, super helpful) so youā€™ll spend bulk of your time in the van. Lunch is basic. Super nice service. Antelope Canyon groups are moved along swiftly. However, I Appreciate the guides because without them the public wouldnā€™t learn as much or respect the land as they should. Bonus, the guides are experts at photos. There wasnā€™t as much light in the canyon as I expected (disappointing) so definitely inquire what time of day is optimal light time. Overall great first visit to these natural treasures.

This trip was on my bucket list, so I glad that we were able to make this trip. The driver was very knowledgeable pointing out important landmarks and regional information along the way. He provided just the right amount of breaks along the way which included a great lunch. The Navajo tour guide for the slot canyon was amazing. Super knowledgeable, help everyone get the best pictures, and understand the history of the slot Canyon. It was a long day but truly worth it.
