We took this tour based on reviews on Trip Advisor. Sheldon picked us up in Sedona. We drove to Horseshoe Bend, then Glen Canyon Dam, then on to Antelope Canyon. The Navaho guide Bryce took us through the canyon. All I can say is WOW! The day was 12 hours+ but well worth it! Highly recommended!

My friend and I spent the day at Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon with Tim. I would definitely recommend this trip! Itā€™s a long day, but well worth it. Horseshoe Bend is an accessible hike for most levels. Itā€™s pretty crowded, but not unmanageably so, and the views are amazing. Antelope Canyon is absolutely unreal. Itā€™s very crowded, but it doesnā€™t take away from how magical it is. On top of all this, Tim is the best guide ever. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every part of the trip- from sights we drove by, to every detail about the sites we visited. He also radiates kindness and warmth, and spending the day with him was a highlight of the trip for me.

Really grateful that I was able to go to horseshoe bend and antelope canyon with Tim today. The ride is long, but Tim is an incredible guide, filled with stories about every section of Arizona that you drive through to get to your destination. We asked a zillion questions and Tim had answers! A true fount of knowledge. And super kind! He just made you feel good the whole trip, like an old family friend. Also, while the ride has winding turns (which treat you to beautiful views) and is lengthy, Tim is an EXCELLENT driver (hands stayed at 10 and 2, always used his blinker)! I felt incredibly safe in his car, totally at ease. The ride was so seamless and Timā€™s skills so apparent, I passed out on the ride home and was nudged awake in Flagstaff. As for antelope canyon, itā€™s as beautiful as they say, but also as crowded. Also very dusty! You may have to wipe your eyes after. Hopefully you get to do this tour on a weekday so there are fewer people being hustled through the canyon. Horseshoe bend is also gorgeous. Be sure to wear sneakers or closed toed shoes of some sort as you trek through sand and climb some of the formations for the best angles. Lunch was pretty good - plain sandwiches with fries and a salad bar where we went. And you also get a chance to stop by a trading post on Navajo land to pick up some great souvenirs to remind you of this beautiful place.
