NOTE - each tour is unique with our ever changing daylight. Depending on when you are traveling it is important your day may be more "night" then day light".

IMPORTANT NOTE -- this is not an Aurora Adventure. While yes it will be dark on the return to Fairbanks, the tour does not stay out later, longer waiting for the aurora during its peak time. Guests should consider taking an Aurora Adventure if they are wanting to look for the Aurora.

DOES NOT GO ALL THE WAY TO COLDFOOT - Viator locator only has Coldfoot for the Dalton Highway -- Guest get out and experience Alaska's Arctic made accessibly by the Dalton Highway - built for the transportation of goods to the Prudhoe Bay Oil Fields.

Arctic Circle Trading Post

Just one of the stops made along the way to see up close and learn about the natural and cultural history of Alaska's Arctic -- here learn of the early homesteading in Alaska and how early pioneers forged a home out in the middle of the wilderness.

Yukon River Bridge

The tour will stop at the Yukon River Camp both on the way north and way south. Guests can either have brought their own food to eat or purchase lunch/dinner here. Plus, guests get a chance to get out and explore the banks of the mighty Yukon River.

BLM Arctic Circle Monument Sign

Celebrate reaching the Arctic Circle at Milepost 115 of the Dalton Highway -- 200 miles north of Fairbanks! All guests will earn an official Arctic Circle Certificate.

Love. Love. Love. this experience that we have with this tour company. I highly recommend them! Their employees are very kind and very knowledgable about AK! Our tour guide, Mr. Joe, was very knowledgeable and told us some fascinating stories about each places we see while driving to our destination. The best part of it all, he did all the driving 😁 We were able to see the yukon river, the pipe line, enchanted forest, and the best one was the aurora! Thank God it showed up 😁😁

This was an incredibly well-run tour to the Arctic Circle. Aaron was a wealth of information and made the tour fun and interesting. Looking out of the window has never been so fascinating. When they say 16 hours, it is every bit of 16 hours, so bring plenty of snacks, water, layered clothing of varying degrees, and be ready for a very long trip! Highly recommend this professional company.
