Learning about milling and the changes in the process over the years. Enjoyed gold panning. Our guide must have been new as he often said he didn’t have an answer. And he often gave information without looking at the group.

We had the best time at the mine. My mom had a bad knee and we didn’t realize you have to go up 6 flights of stairs but our tour guide was amazing and took it very slow for her. The mine was so cool to see in person. You could imagine what it was like functioning. The experience was very educational.

I really enjoyed the tour! It was cool to go through the old building and see the old mining equipment. I was slightly disappointed that we didn’t get to see much of the mining tunnel though. I personally really enjoy seeing old ā€œabandonedā€ things and this has that vibe. Fun thing to do just outside Denver!
