Situated in Historic Idaho Springs in the heart of Colorado Gold Country sits the Mighty Argo Mill and Tunnel, one of the most striking and prominent Heritage Landmarks in the American West. The Argo is a central character in the story of the Colorado gold rush and remains one of the largest, most well-preserved historic gold mills in the world.

Allie was a great tour guide with your typical bad jokes. She was informative and fun to be around. She was especially helpful to our younger boys at the end of the tour where you can pan for gold or gemstones.

We had a great tour of the mine and accompanying buildings. Will was a fantastic tour guide who had a great sense of humor and great stories. Thanks for a great tour!

Alli was an excellent and informative tour guide. She made the history come alive. The main steucture is a well preserved example of a gold stamping mill complete with equipment abandoned in the late 1940s. The fact that it is in such original condition makes this tour unique.
