What an awesome day! This was such a special way to experience the Grand Canyon from the sky, land, and by water. The day was so well organized and the simplicity of transitioning from one event to the next was so nice. The cost for this trip was the only thing that caused us pause, but ultimately we found it to be worth the investment.

This is a fantastic trip. Our pilot, Jack, was funny and very informative during our flight over the canyon. The Antelope Canyon was worth the price of the whole trip. Our guide, Rico, went above and beyond at helping us get the best shots and giving us background and incidental information about the canyon. We were delivered to Justin for our trip down the Colorado. He was really nice and not rushed at all. It was really hot and he would pull into shaded areas whenever he found them. Our trip started early so we managed to avoid the crowds. Antelope Canyon is very busy between 9 and 3. As we were coming out it was getting crowded. It was nice not having to deal with driving and finding parking. We considered it well worth the money. The only real negative was the boat ride was a bit long. It could be run a bit quicker to shorten the time in the summer.

We wanted to see as much as possible with little time so we paid the extra $ to do this deluxe tour. It started at the Grand Canyon airport and we promptly arrived at 6:00 a.m. Unfortunately, a party of 12 decided they wanted to also join the tour so we had to wait until they were all registered even tho we had made prior arrangements & had paid in full weeks before. The receptionist was not at all engaging & would not allow us to at least get our breakfast until all 12 members were weighed & ticketed. Very frustrating & a bit underwhelmed especially since we had arranged to be there on time by getting a room close by. The pilot was good but it would have been nice had he introduced himself. I did ask him his name. But to me, I would prefer he introduce himself before we began. The flight was nice & we saw the Grand Canyon from a mile above. It was amazing. The Colorado river looks small from way up there. Later we arrived in Page, AZ & were picked up by Rosie, an American Indian tour guide who drove us to Antelope Canyon! She was very nice, fun, engaging, helpful in showing us how to get the best pictures, & extremely professional & pleasant. She dropped us off at the River check in destination where we received lunch (Subway sandwiches & trimmings) along with a chance to clean up, use the facilities, learn about the Glen Canyon Dam, early explorers, etc. Then we were bussed to a very long tunnel which we entered, pitch dark for about a minute or two, it was long & arrived at the opening of the stairs down to the river rafts. Our guide was Daniel & he was very nice, engaging, professional, fun & made every effort to keep us cool on a very hot hot day. We, about 16 of us on the boat, ate our lunch & listen to Daniel's talk about the river as well as the cliffs, petroglyphs, etc. There was a couple of stops along the way which were welcomed along with a bathroom that was actually very clean and pleasant considering there actually large & basically out-houses. There was also an opportunity to swim and play in the very cold river, which was very refreshing. We finally made our way to the landing where we had another rest break before hopping on a very nice air conditioned plush seat bus (w/ a bathroom on board) to make the 3 hour journey back to the airport in Tusayan. We saw extremely large Elk with huge racks & also babies and Does. The driver was very nice, engaging & gave us lots of history & pertinent information. We liked the stop at Cameron too!
