Overview

Your daylong expedition starts at the Grand Canyon Airport (South Rim) with a 1-hour plane ride over the Grand Canyon's East Rim, the Colorado River, and Lake Powell. Then receive a picnic-style lunch and board your motorized raft to float 15.5 miles (25 km) along the Colorado River through Glen Canyon as your guide talks about the history and geology of the area. A 30-minute hike is also included.

Infant children are considered a lap child if they are under the age of two and have proof of age, such as a passport or a copy of their birth certificate
Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen and a hat are strongly advised
For comfort and weight/balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing 300 pounds or more will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour

This excursion was cancelled 13 hours before our family of 5 was to take this trip to kick off our vacation at the Grand Canyon. Viator had our trip cost money of over $2,000 since April and we had actually received a confirmation ticket on Thursday before our trip was to take place on Monday. No really good explanation for the trip cancellation was given except the plane needed maintenance. Why did Viator/Grand Canyon Airlines not know this on Thursday before the trip confirmation ticket was sent to us. Viator booked this excursion through Grand Canyon Airlines and the Airlines called us to cancel. They did not even offer to try and accommodate us with other excursions that would fit into the time we were at the Grand Canyon. So we as a family had to jump through hoops to try and book excursions to make up for this cancellation. Viator still had my money a week after the trip had been cancelled. Through several phone calls and firm language, we finally got an e-mail verifying that the refund had been initiated. There was no communication on this cancellation between Grand Canyon Airlines and Viator so what kind of partnership and customer service and follow up is that -- bad! Needless to say -- we will not be booking with Viator or Grand Canyons Airlines in the future.

There are no words that can express the beauty and majesty of the Grand Canyon and the additional attractions of Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, and Glen Canyon, other wonders of nature, just made the trip something to remember for the rest of your life... The well-organized tour also helped a lot for the enjoyment of the trip.

Wow what a day ... all the staff were amazing I don’t enjoy flying but this flight was different - such a great pilot and so very very enjoyable Antelope canyon left me in awe - amazing guide who showed us how to capture some amazing pictures - memories will stay with me forever Rafting was enjoyable but for me slightly too long with no shade The only negatives were inconsiderations of others ... turning up late to the bus - not following tour guides instructions - getting in the way with their selfie sticks etc !! There were children on our tour - to be honest they were bored lots of the time and became noisy so we couldn’t hear the guide - maybe not the best tour for less than teens - but that’s just my opinion !!!!
