Overview

Step aboard one of our 1920s-style yachts with teak decks, large observation windows, and aesthetically-pleasing decor for a leisurely weekend brunch cruise. Cruise around NY Harbor, seeing all the major sights while enjoying a prix fixe brunch served in our main salon. Our menu is packed with delicious New York State foods and local goods from NYC purveyors: fresh bagels and bakery, seasonal fruit, craft meat, fresh seasonal salad, frittata, a classic smoked salmon display, and pastries.

Please note that select 2-hour December holiday departures on Yacht Northern Lights will not circumnavigate Manhattan. Instead, these cruises will get up close to and spend more time near Lower Manhattan attractions such as the Financial District, Battery Park, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Governors Island, and much more.

It is a nice brunch idea. We left from pier 62- the on-boarding was easy and painless-definitely Covid conscious. Once embarked, you sit at your designated seat. Each group seating is partitioned by a clear shield. Breakfast was light- fruits, frittata, bagels with cream cheese, croissants- not sure if this menu changes or not. Also, depending on your package deal, you receive alcohol. We purchased the mimosa bucket- yum. We cruised through the east side river and met Lady Liberty (obviously my highlight). Some areas of improvement- would be nice if the captain pointed out where we were or historical landmarks. While I enjoy the quiet cruising I feel a balance between information and not overwhelmingly speaking on the microphone would have added an extra touch to this beautiful voyage. Highly recommended brunch cruise for a special occasion or just for chilling with that special someone. Wouldn’t recommend as a turn-up with your friends. The music was blah (elevator music).

What a great tour. This was so much fun and the people that joined us at our table were so interesting. The crew was fantastic. The food was wonderful, and the New York weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day! It was informative and fun!
