Jeremy was early and so were we, meeting up at the Heartland Brewery at the corner of 34th and 6th, just steps away from the Empire State lobby. The early tour starts before the brewery is open, so you will be outside to find him. As the other booked party had cancelled, we had a private tour for the morning, starting with Empire's lobby, the American Radiator/Standard building, around Bryant Park, to the stunning NYC Library, by the Chanin and Cipriani (Bowery Savings) at 42nd, neither of which allow photography sadly, to the Chrysler and Grand Central. If you love Art Deco and want some guidance in seeing some of the gems, Jeremy's tour is highly recommended.

Met close to the Empire State Building. Jeremy, our guide, was knowledgeable, well prepared and obviously loved architecture and design and if you were not a fan before this tour you were after. We learned about Art Deco and the stories behind the construction of some of New York cities most famous and beautiful skyscrapers. Other places we visited include American Standard (Radiator) building, Cipriani 42nd, Chrysler bldg, Bryant Park, New York City Library, and Grand Central station where the tour ended. Well designed tour - all stops were close. Bring a camera as ā€œthey just donā€™t make Art Deco like this anymoreā€ - some interiors & lobbies are fabulous & Jeremy had suggestions for best places to capture exteriors. A highlight for us and IMO a ā€œmustā€ for a NYC visit.

A really great walking tour of midtown Manhattan. The Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Grand Central, the Library, and a few others... we saw so many great buildings, and had several indoor stops. Loved hearing the story of the original Winnie the Pooh dolls! The guide really brought these landmarks to life, and I'm glad to have new details on them. Fun!
