The tour was a great over view of the collection. I have been several times but this took me to parts of the Art Institute that I hadn't visited before.

Marlin was a fantastic guide! He even contacted us to meet prior to the agreed-upon time, to talk about sculptures in the surrounding area. He made the art very accessible with stories of the artists and the collectors that contributed to the Art Institue. He also provided links to other city's art collections.

Marlin was a fantastic tour guide. He met us about an hour earlier than scheduled to show us some sculptures in some of the neighboring areas. We then went to the Art Institute and entered before the official opening so that we were able to see many works without the usual crowds. Marlin shared many interesting and entertaining stories regarding the background of many pieces of art that provided great information to help understand the art and also to help retain the information and put it into context. After our tour he provided us with a email follow up that included a summary of everything that we saw and additional resources to explore further. We really appreciated the extra time that Marlin put into our tour, and we were extremely pleased with our experience.
