Steve guided us on an enlightening and interesting tour of the Village. I've walked through this part of NYC on past visits, but the tour was a great way to gain knowledge about the history, economics, and transitions of this fascinating area. Easy pace and full of stories. We enjoyed it!

My husband and I came all the way from Germany to spend our honeymoon in New York City. We stayed in Greenwich Village, so we wanted to know the neighborhood a little more. Steve, a local, showed us round HIS neighborhood. It felt more like he was showing his friends than his clients round. He was so welcoming and the tour was fun with all his stories and knowledge about the area. So far it was the highlight in New York and I wished he’d never stop telling us trivia facts about Jazz and film! If you’re interested in politics and history, especially the women’s and gay liberation people movement - he’s your guy! A plus: he knows the best food stops!

Steve was the perfect choice for the Greenwich village tour. As a local he could give us an intimate glimpse of the past, present and future of the best quarter of NYC. He captured the group completely and the two hours ended too soon. His personal history in Greenwich village combined with his vast knowledge of the importance of the neighbourhood in important movements like the woman’s and gays liberation were mesmerising. His connections in the thriving jazz scene made it possible to take a look in the Zinc club. His insight in the development of the village made it far more easy to comprehend the changes with took place and take place there now. Thanks a lot! We would love to take another tour with you!
