Additional Info
  • Specialized infant seats are available
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The electric bikes will take all of the hard work out of your ride. We routinely have riders that span the spectrum of age and fitness. The main requirement is that you be coordinated and fit enough to balance a 55-pound bike. A training and practice session is provided at the start of each tour. For people that would like to go on the tour but are not able to balance a bike, it is possible to arrange a ride on the back of one of our stretch cargo bikes that will be driven by another person in your party.
  • Legally, you must be 16 years or older to operate an electric bike. Guides reserve the right to request proof of age of any rider. Riders should also be at least 5 feet tall to operate their own bike. Guests younger than 16 may ride as a passenger with an adult in their group on the back of one of our cargo bikes or in a child seat (for children ages 1-6 or up to 48.5 pounds).
  • Tours are subject to favorable weather conditions. If there is light rain in the forecast but none at the start of the tour, we will decide together at the time of the tour whether to ride. We will provide rain ponchos and rain covers for the storage bags on the bikes to protect your belongings. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
  • Social distancing enforced throughout experience
  • Gear/equipment sanitised between use
  • Guides required to regularly wash hands
  • Contactless payments for gratuities and add-ons

This was a very informative tour and just a delight. We visited many spots that I wanted to see, but didn't know where to fit in during our 5 day stay in Asheville. We also got to see places we didn't know existed (or probably every would) like the Greenway, which was just gorgeous. The bikes themselves were a so fun to ride and just took a short time to learn and get used to. Torin was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about the things in town and offered many recommendations for eating and places to visit. About an hour into our tour it started raining and never stopped. We popped on rain ponchos he provided and continued our tour. Torin was so accommodating about the rain and was happy to continue to tour as long as we wanted to continue (which we did). I was also impressed with his concern for safety while riding. I would do this again if we go to Asheville it was that enjoyable, and I know Torin wanted to show us more, but the rain prevented it. And if you're reading this Torin, your Biltmore advise was awesome, thank you!!!

Hey all, if you come to Asheville you have to do this tour! The bikes are very easy to ride (you don't even have to pedal if you don't want to) and the route was really informative providing a good overview of Asheville. Dustin was our guide and was super knowledgeable and nice. One of the most fun things I have done on a non-biking vacation.

I HIGHLY recommend this! Torino was our guide through the streets of Asheville. We had never ridden electric bikes before, and they were a lot of fun. Tori gives you the quick intro on how to operate it, lets you take a practice spin in the parking lot, and then we were off. He led us through part of the downtown area. We stopped at the Basilica of St Lawrence to appreciate the architecture. Then we went through some older neighborhoods and along the greenway before going through Grovewood to the Grove Park Inn. We stopped here for a restroom break and photo ops. Then we rode toward a park area where we could see City Hall and some other Art Deco bldgs. Torin gave us recommendations for lunch (Bharmari) which was delicious! The bikes were so much fun, and my family agreed this was one of the best parts of our getaway. Definitely do this!
