Additional Info
  • Specialized infant seats are available
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The electric bikes will take all of the hard work out of your ride. We routinely have riders that span the spectrum of age and fitness. The main requirement is that you be coordinated and fit enough to balance a 55-pound bike. A training and practice session is provided at the start of each tour. For people that would like to go on the tour but are not able to balance a bike, it is possible to arrange a ride on the back of one of our stretch cargo bikes that will be driven by another person in your party.
  • Legally, you must be 16 years or older to operate an electric bike. Guides reserve the right to request proof of age of any rider. Riders should also be at least 5 feet tall to operate their own bike. Guests younger than 16 may ride as a passenger with an adult in their group on the back of one of our cargo bikes or in a child seat (for children ages 1-6 or up to 48.5 pounds).
  • Tours are subject to favorable weather conditions. If there is light rain in the forecast but none at the start of the tour, we will decide together at the time of the tour whether to ride. We will provide rain ponchos and rain covers for the storage bags on the bikes to protect your belongings. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
  • Social distancing enforced throughout experience
  • Gear/equipment sanitised between use
  • Guides required to regularly wash hands
  • Contactless payments for gratuities and add-ons

My husband and I had a great time riding around Asheville with the electric bikes. Our tour guide was really nice and gave us some interesting background about the history and architecture of Asheville during our tour. The tour covered some cute neighborhoods, the really cool Grove Park Inn, downtown Asheville, the Basilica and the botanical garden. We really covered a lot of area in only eight miles. The electric assist really helped out a lot with the hilly terrain. It almost made me want to buy an electric bike. Our guide was super friendly and easygoing and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend going on one of these tours. It's a great way to see Asheville.

We went on the Asheville electrobike tour as part of our girls getaway weekend. We had an absolutely wonderful time and our tour guide was knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun. He cared a lot about our safety and was great at instructing us on how to use the bikes. We got to see a lot of Asheville. I highly recommend this Asheville activity!

Turin was a wonderful guide and the bikes were very easy to ride, even up inclines. The tour gives a diverse group of sites...from the Grove Park Inn to the Basilica to UNC's Botanical Gardens. Easy, relaxed and informative. Would definitely recommend!
