Overview

Foodies wanted! Come enjoy diverse plates in the heart of Downtown Houston at some of city's most famous restaurants. This tour will begin at the Historic Market Square Park (outside Niko Niko's) where you will learn about Houston's rich history, beautiful architecture, & diversity of cultures.

The tour consists of 3 stops where you will try 8-9 delicious food samplings including authentic Mexico City cuisine, traditional Asian novelties, Houston's unique take on Italian-American, & dessert. These meals are pre-ordered & will be coming out fresh for your whole group. Guests will also enjoy views of the tallest building in Texas & private limited access into largest downtown tunnel system in the USA! (1/3 of tour spent in tunnels) We hope to be eating with you soon!

On this tour we will be going to some of Houston's hottest restaurants. At each of these restaurants your tour guide will point out the 2 tallest buildings in Texas, the building where the original State Capital, a memorial for 911, and much more!

Access to newest portion of the Downtown Houston Tunnel system which is largest in the United States and second in North America

We had so much fun on our tour! The hosts clearly put a lot of effort and care into the restaurant selection. They have a passion for Houston and for sharing it with other people. We would certainly recommend it.

We were really looking forward to this food tour but it was canceled on the day by email with no direct contact from Astroville. Luckily I checked my email on vacation. We understand if they have to cancel but it would have been helpful to receive a recommendation of where to eat instead, or a phone call to check that we knew it was canceled. Not great customer service.

I tried this tour as recommended by a work colleague who came to Houston on business and it did not disappoint. This food tour includes lot of food, a lot of restaurants, and a lot of cool things to see in Houston, so make sure to arrive with an empty stomach and your camera roll ready:) The tour host couple were kind, knowledgeable on Houston, and very professional all night offering us additional suggestions for future trips to Houston. They were also accommodating with our group as one member of the party was celebrating a birthday. They gave us plenty of opportunities to grab drinks, celebrate, and take pictures as we needed. Seeing the Houston tunnel system at the end was just a bonus on an amazing evening with my wife and the rest of the tour group. As it was only 9 of us on tour, it seemed like everyone had blast and got to ask questions about buildings they were interested about as well as the tunnel system! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great food, hospitality and kind hosts, and a better perspective of Houston.
