Loved this tour and appreciated the energy of our guide. Each stop was had a different cultural feel and tour was clearly well planned. I really liked the Italian theater restaurant because of the atmosphere and music while my daughter loved to tacos de barbacoa and street corn. My wife said she couldnā€™t choose a favorite although the tacos were different than what weā€™re accustomed to back home. One tip: DO NOT EAT BEFORE THE TOUR. You will not having any room to finish even the first meal if you do so but do have option to take food home which we appreciated!

Hello Dylan, Thank you for your wonderful review! We agree that you shouldn't eat dinner before the tour and possibly just have a light lunch. Our plates are so good you will be needing second bites. So glad you enjoyed all the plates on tour as well as the history and stories along the way! Please do not hesitate to reach out for more recommendations/suggestions.

Definitely recommend. Very tasty food, you will not leave hungry. Restaurants offer unique different settings ranging from casual Mexican to upscale Italian as well as eating inside the tunnel. We took some cool photos with our group and the next day we got the entire list of restaurants we visited along with more recommendations for restaurants outside Downtown and things to do. Vanessa who was our guide provided A+ knowledge and made this an experience to remember with her energy and enthusiasm

Recommend. This was enjoyable evening out in center of city with a group of locals and tourists. FYI, the portions were much bigger and heavier than what I expected for a food tour, so I wouldnā€™t eat before. My wife was actually all full by end of 2nd restaurant but ended up toughing it out for dessert in the Italian restaurant. There were no real fancy or overly exotic foods but each spot brought an authentic feel that made you feel welcomed with Houston culture. There was also a stop in the open section of the Houston tunnels. Guide was excellent and sent us a full list of recommendations in city to try on our trip and restaurants we stopped at on tour. We ended up going back to Mexican restaurant which was our favorite for drinks later in the night.

Hello Bradely, We appreciate your feedback and supporting the small businesses we visit on tour. Our plates are so good we say you'll need a second bite! Most defiantly don't do the tour on a full stomach since we try so many different plates. Please let us know if we may offer any further suggestions for your visit to Houston.
