Overview

Foodies wanted! Come enjoy diverse plates in the heart of Downtown Houston at some of city's most famous restaurants. This tour will begin at the Historic Market Square Park (outside Niko Niko's) where you will learn about Houston's rich history, beautiful architecture, & diversity of cultures.

The tour consists of 3 stops where you will try 8-9 delicious food samplings including authentic Mexico City cuisine, traditional Asian novelties, Houston's unique take on Italian-American, & dessert. These meals are pre-ordered & will be coming out fresh for your whole group. Guests will also enjoy views of the tallest building in Texas & private limited access into largest downtown tunnel system in the USA! (1/3 of tour spent in tunnels) We hope to be eating with you soon!

On this tour we will be going to some of Houston's hottest restaurants. At each of these restaurants your tour guide will point out the 2 tallest buildings in Texas, the building where the original State Capital, a memorial for 911, and much more!

Access to newest portion of the Downtown Houston Tunnel system which is largest in the United States and second in North America

Vanessa was fantastic guide! I do think more time should be spent in the tunnel since it is advertised a underground tunnel food tour but would do any tour if Vanessa was the guide.

Hello Tonya, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We will be sure to pass on your compliments to your guide. Our food tour is advertised as a downtown tour with tunnel access. Currently three restaurants are visited on tour and one third of the time is spent in the tunnel including exploring the tunnel and eating below ground. We are the only company to have access to the tunnel after hours and on the weeks for this tour. Like mentioned on tour the tunnel system is only open for a certain period of time and that is why the whole tour cannot take place below ground. Our highly rated Downtown Houston Tunnel Tour does take place purely in the tunnel (with some outdoor views) and might be the best option for those wanting to be mainly in the tunnel. Vanessa our tour guide was fantastic! Learned a lot and ate a lot! Really a neat way to see Houston, the different restaurants, and the tunnels that run under the City. We only had a small sample of the tunnels which was fine with me being so full! Also enjoyed meeting the people taking the tour who were from all over with some locals.
