  • Children & toddlers are welcome to join tour but require their own valid entry ticket, however babies are not permitted due to private property regulations set by Houston skyscraper district

Downtown Tunnels
Stay in the cool air-conditioning and check out the largest downtown tunnel system in the USA with our top guides. Get a firsthand look at the oldest bank in Downtown Houston, original skyscraper in Texas, most award-winning architecture in Houston, and the most elevated pool in all of Texas. You will also see the hotel where JFK spent part of his final living evening and visit some of Houston's most popular food halls!

Our guests will view the tallest building in Texas from up-close. They will also be able to see a raved about sculpture by Joan Miro, the largest piece of art in his illustrious career. At this point, guests will also be able to spot the tallest pool in Texas as well as the 2nd largest Theatre District in the USA.

I visited Houston with my parents for a couple of days, we did not really know what to do. So we saw this tour, and thought why not? We actually learned so much about the city and we went to places that we normally would not have gone to! So a really nice tour!

Had the underground tunnel tour with Luis. It was great. If you are interested in building and history, this tour can be a great choice. Not only seen a lot of building but also learn the story behind it.

I did the underground tunnel tour on my second visit to Houston. It was the highlight of my trip! Vanessa and Luis were not only very knowledgeable about the city's history and architecture but also complimented it with interesting anecdotes which made it all the more fun. I was truly impressed with the beautiful Art Deco interior design of the Esperson building(rumored to be haunted!Haha). The newest portion of the tunnel is super cool with a bar,restaurants,and amenities for kids. I will definitely do another Astroville tour the next time I visit. Totally worth it!!
