Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel is the meet-up location for all travelers. Good location that's using using Marta train riders, Uber/Lyft drop offs. The hotel has comfortable lobby seating, clean bathrooms, and Starbucks (opened 6am-1pm only) Parking is available, but isn't free! The parking garages and lots are located about one block from the hotel. Parking rates range $10-$30. Please arrive 15-20 min before tour departure.
Tour operates in all weather. Umbrella or rain poncho is recommended for for light rain. For extreme weather conditions, please call the phone number on your voucher to reconfirm tour operation.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 14 travelers
The morning tour starts from 9:30am-1:30pm and the afternoon tour 2:00pm-6:00pm

This is hands down the best tour I have ever gone on!! We learned so much!! The tour guide is a human encyclopedia, in terms of his level of knowledge with Civil Rights Movement and the history of Atlanta!! I took my two teenagers with me and they loved it as well.. 4 hours was worth it!! I would encourage anyone to take this tour..

Omar was awesome! Very informative. He connected the historical past and present popular culture very well. My tween and teens were engaged throughout the tour - they really enjoyed seeing the scenes where popular movies were filmed. I highly recommend this tour - from walking in the same streets of civil rights leaders to current events/scenes of Atlanta. The best tour ever!

Experience of a lifetime! Omar is very knowledgeable on Black History and Civil Rights. Omar was open to Q & A’s and shared experiences. The van was clean, sanitized and disinfected. Thank you for considering our safety and the spread of COVID. Omar also referred other sites such the Jimmy Carter Center & Library, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Ponce City Market, Delta Flight Museum, Apex Museum. Omar shared knowledge of various cuisines such as Caribbean, Jamaican, Soulfood etc. I will use Roundabout Atlanta Tours & Transportation again. Sonia Russell
