Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel is the meet-up location for all travelers. Good location that's using using Marta train riders, Uber/Lyft drop offs. The hotel has comfortable lobby seating, clean bathrooms, and Starbucks (opened 6am-1pm only) Parking is available, but isn't free! The parking garages and lots are located about one block from the hotel. Parking rates range $10-$30. Please arrive 15-20 min before tour departure.
Tour operates in all weather. Umbrella or rain poncho is recommended for for light rain. For extreme weather conditions, please call the phone number on your voucher to reconfirm tour operation.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 14 travelers
The morning tour starts from 9:30am-1:30pm and the afternoon tour 2:00pm-6:00pm

My wife and I had a great time throughout the tour. The highlight was getting to see all the beautiful murals and hearing the history of the neighborhoods during the civil rights era. I highly recommend this trip to everyone! Had a great time

I live in Braselton Georgia and I have never done a tour like this. this was so awesome the guy who did the tour was so knowledgeable. My family and I went on the tour but by the time we were finish we made friends with everyone else. I think sometimes as blacks we don’t know our own history because it’s not in school books as much as it should be. I have lived here for 10 years and did not know about all this black history in Atlanta. I would definitely recommend this tour if you have visitors or just for yourself.
