This tour starts at the Peachtree Center and goes all over the city with 4 stops where we got off the bus -- at the very impressive MLK Jr Center, at Krog Street Market and The Beltline (where we walked part of the beautiful trail), at Ponce City Market (the historic Sears building; now a fun mix of shops, eateries and offices) and at the CNN Center (lunch break). Our tour guide Don was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining (he even sang and played the harmonica!). Even though we'd been to Atlanta several times, this provided so much new information and history and is definitely worth the time and money!

This tour was fun and informative, however, I felt a little like an advertisement for come back and eat or shop here. Lunch was at the CNN food court that was packed and very limited food choices, but before that were raced through some much nicer choices without time to enjoy. I enjoyed the circle around Buckhead, still a lot of there it is and these are nice restaurants. We ended up going back to CNN for a tour because we wanted time to find out more about it. We were expecting more of the history and architecture of the area. The King Center and walk along the beltway were worthwhile and enjoyable.

We very much enjoyed our tour with Don and Corey! Don was funny and interesting and we learned a lot about the city of Atlanta. The tour gave us a chance to see parts of the city we wouldn't normally see and Don had us laughing the whole time. I highly recommend that you check it out!
