Meeting place in Peachtree eating area was wierd. Tour guide and information were very good. 1/2 mile+ walking trail excursion was too lengthy and exhausting for my wife. All stops except for Martin Luther King were too rushed. Tour info suggested tour of CNN which only stopped there for 30 min lunch during lunch rush hour and did not give you time to eat. No tour of CNN at all.

Covered mostly areas near downtown describing various buildings. The tour guide Doug Moore was knowledgeable and was talking nonstop. We spent a lot of time in Martin Luther King memorial site. Then he took us on a very long walk. The tour took us through some rich neighborhood with lot of mansions. We also visited some market place with eateries. We stopped at the CNN for lunch. All in all, we just spent 5 hours mostly in the bus. I would give it just a very average rating.

I have been to Atlanta numerous times (on business) over the years and never really cared for it until now. The tour director (Don) has an outstanding love and depth of knowledge of the history of this great city. Now I love it too! He covered everything imaginable during our 5 hours with him. This tour not only gave us a great overview of Atlanta (history, tourist attractions, historical houses and neighborhoods) but it allowed us to see all this without fighting the awful traffic that Atlanta is known for. The bus driver was very good too. The only suggestion: Make the tour 6-7 hours (even if you have to charge more) so there is enough time to explore the markets and eat lunch. The time we spent at CNN to have lunch is too short. The lines in the food court are long and seating is scarce.
