We had one day to see the big city. Corey and Don gave us a great first impression. I knew Atlanta was big but it feels like a smaller city, vibrant and cozy. We visited the aquarium on our own and this tour hit upon all the other places we had heard about. It is so nice to not have to drive and to be driven to see Martin Luther King Center and Buckhead mansions in the same day. We now know the places we want to spend time and explore. The guides were funny, musical and knowledgeable. Remember this tour is a taste and not the whole dinner. You will need to go back explore the main courses.

Don was bursting with eagerness to share his city. Cory was careful, kind and helpful. This is a great overview of city tour...keeping in mind that this is a BIG city with a lot of great places so it's impossible to hear about them all in 5 hours...but Don tries! My only criticism is that the 30 minutes for lunch at CNN was too short. Not the tour's fault as service was very slow. Suggestion, bring your own lunch. Looking forward to returning to several sites and visiting at our leisure.

First, I know my rating may seem harsh, but it is well deserved. I have never been so uncomfortable in my life. It is not worth the money at all. My sister and I went and we both agree it should be $20 a person, the price is ridiculous for a not very well crafted tour. Ok, down to the details. The driver cannot tell directions to where the check-in was, many people where very lost, and it was snowing. The driver had us walking around the block in circles then when you try calling the number, nobody answers! I called 4 times to no avail, how frustrating and cold. We are from Florida. From there, the tour guide insisted on differentiating what was a ā€œwhiteā€ neighborhood or a ā€œblackā€ neighborhood. As our group consisted of many African American women, this really struck a cord with everyone, as it was very unnecessary and uncomfortable. He also pointed out where ā€œhippies and gays/lesbians took over.ā€ What exactly is that supposed to mean? It was very derogatory. Dawn was very loose with his word choice, very unsavory. The tour wasnā€™t very well put together. The MLK site was closed due to the weather conditions and that made things worse. Cory, the driver really wanted to rush through things and was even very rude to Dawn. How unprofessional. Not a recommendation. May have been good in the past but as fallen off as far as Im concerned. Saw more houses than anything and honestly you can see big houses in all of Atlanta. Wish I didnā€™t spend the money!!! Proceed with caution.
