What To Expect

Valley of Fire State Park

The area you'll be riding in has been featured by numerous magazines as one of the top off-road riding areas in the United States. This wonder of nature can only be described as breathtaking. While you will occasionally encounter Big Horn sheep and other wildlife, the Valley of Fire is world renowned for its beautiful rock formations and red sand. If you are fan of Star Trek, you will recognize many of the early sets filmed here. Yes, you can go to the land of Kirk and Spock. However teleporting is out of the question!

I booked this tour with high expectations and it did not disappoint - I have to say that I booked through Kay who was absolutely amazing-she set this all up for me and despite my girlfriend being a jerk that day I went by myself and had an amazing time. Shana was amazing at the front desk super helpful - miss Deborah was amazing.super helpful - Keith was amazing.and helpful fun and safe ! A special thank you to Mike and particularly Uncle Robbo who took me our both on the ATVs and dune buggies and he was awesome and so much fun I will definitely be doing this again and with Sunbuggy for sure thank for the great time ad thank you too all for being so great

Quad tour was great, with a fantastic guide. Excellent mix of the tracks, half gravel, half sand with dunes. A good 3 hours was perfect. Buggy part was not so good though: just 1 hour, mostly on gravel, with poor cars. Altogether, a great day-tour worth every Cent!

Second time with these guys and we had an incredible experience once again! We visited in June this year and booked the ATV tour and dune buggy chase dakar combo adventure. We got picked up by Mike the driver and headed to their offices to watch a safety video and get our helmets. Food was offered as part of the tour, so we went to the service station on the way and chose what we wanted. We arrived at The Valley of Fire and went on our tour. The tour was fantastic!! Patrick and Eric (ATV) are so good at what they do and made us feel safe and welcome throughout. We stopped off and had lunch in a little cave that looked out over the valley. Absolutely beautiful. It was incredibly hot so making sure you're hydrated is is a must. Water is provided so no need to pack some yourself. After the ATV tour we headed over to Jimmy to take us on the dune buggy chase. He was incredible too and also made us feel welcome; we had such a good time on both tours and would recommend booking this experience. Be aware you may need gloves to reduce blisters. I didn't realise I had one until the end of the day. Something to be aware of. Communication at the business needs improving. We booked the 8am pickup, but got a rude awakening at 6am by the driver saying we are hard to get hold of and pickup is at 7am!!! We also had an email from them at 6am asking what hotel we were at. This should have been confirmed at least the day before like all other tour operators did to confirm all details so we didn't have such a stressful start to the day. These things are easily implemented so I hope it helps make things better everyone at and those who book with Sunbuggy. See you again next year and thank you for a great day!
