Make sure that you buy the combined ticket and also see the museum next door. If you love art deco you will love this museum. I liked how the museum next door had a large collection of dealer promos. I noticed a lot of daily drivers from the 1980s and 1990s.

What a gem! From the striking, original 1930 Art Deco showroom building now preserved as the museum to the stunning cars (and 2 planes!) on display within. Even my 80 year old mother, who hesitantly agreed to tag along but figured she’d just sit while I roamed - thoroughly enjoyed walking through the 3 floors and taking in the gorgeous automobiles. If you’ve ever admired American cars, from the early years to the ā€œgolden ageā€ of the 30s, you owe it to yourself to drop in and soak up the Duesenbergs, Auburns and Cords. (Several other makers are represented also.) The collection represent some truly amazing automotive history, innovation and design milestones.

An equal to Chicago's Museum of Art, New York's Metropolitan, or Paris' Louvre, the display and setting of automotive art defies description....there is none more enriching than the ACD. The 20th century's driving affection (and addiction) is perfectly centered between horse & buggy era then, and the electric evolution now. Treat yourself here, in Auburn, Indiana, before you exit this nugget we share : planet earth.
