We had a great time ice fishing and watching the Northern Lights. Despite -28 F temperatures, we remained warm and comfortable while in the fishing hut. Cody was our guide and he made us feel like family. He was very helpful while I was taking pictures of the lights.

In the past week; we have had some great aurora shows on the aurora viewing/ice fishing adventures. Thank you for the 5-star review.

I’ve lived in Alaska for a total of 7 years and never been ice fishing. When my friend asked if I’d be interested I hopped on board and got our tour booked. While we didn’t particularly catch much or get to the see the lights (things no one can control) the entire experience was still worth it. CJ was awesome to hang out with and learn from and he genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. It had dropped to about -38 that night and he made sure we stayed warm and had plenty to see, eat, drink and do!

Cody was an excellent guide throughout the entire evening. From keeping the cabin toasty warm, to baiting the hooks, to cooking up some reindeer sausage, he helped make the evening enjoyable, even if we didn’t catch anything or see the aurora. Be sure to dress in layers, it gets pretty warm, and also cools down when people go in and out.

The recent snow/clouds has made aurora viewing difficult. Often the clouds will part and we will get a good aurora borealis show. The forecast shows clear skies are coming over the next week and good aurora viewing. Thank you for the review.
