At night your guide will help you catch fish through the ice as we wait for the magical aurora dance. Your guide will help you take pictures of the aurora borealis.

We had such an amazing time fishing and watching the lights dance across the sky. I downloaded an app on my phone to try and get some decent pictures but they don't hold a candle to the live show the Aurora creates. Will was our guide and he was super helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to catch a few fish and have a tasty meal by the end of the night. A very unique experience that I would love to do again.

We booked 2 different trips with Rod's Alaskan (ice fishing with aurora viewing and snow mobile). We had a GREAT time, NO regret!! Great service!! We saw the northern light...it comes and goes...awesome experience. Caught some fishes...freshly cooked and the reindeer sausage was amazing!
