My husband and I booked the night ice fishing with aurora viewing. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy that night to see any kind of an aurora, but the ice fishing was a lot of fun! Riley, our guide, helped us with all the fishing, cooked up our catch and even made us reindeer sausage. My husband says he wants to take up ice fishing on a regular basis now. ;) Thank you, Riley and team!

My friend and I had a great time on this excursion. We wanted to make sure we had a solid plan to see try and see the Aurora on our first day as it was the highest kp of the all the time we were going to be there. The company was very communicative when I had questions. The place was easy to find in the dark with the directions provided. Even though I wasn't overly interested in fishing, it does get exciting when you reel one in! Jon was our guide and super entertaining and supportive despite us not catching a lot of fish. Jon kept repeatedly checking outside for us and let us know when the lights were putting on a show. He was also able to answer all our questions and provided stories and anecdotes to keep us entertained as well as cooking us fish and reindeer sausage which was really tasty. You will need to have a car as the lake is about 30 minutes from downtown Fairbanks but I highly recommend this experience!

My Aurora Viewing with ice fishing adventure (10:00PM-3:00AM daily) is a great way to see the northern lights and experience ice fishing though 3 feet of ice--all at once. Thank you for the review.

Our family had a great time fishing and Jon did an outstanding job as the guide. The fishing was good (caught about 10 fish) the fire was very warm, and the food was good too. The clouds kept us from seeing the Aurora, but you can't control the weather. We also did a little fishing outside the cabin and Jon was great to help with that. Hope to come back when the sky is clear!
