Overview

The long nights in the Interior of Alaska provide amazing opportunities for Aurora (Northern Lights) viewing.

For our Aurora Lodge Viewing Tour, we select one of the best Aurora viewing lodges in the area, to give you not only the best chance possible, to view the Northern Lights, but also provide you with the comfort of a warm and safe area.

This is bringing the Aurora viewing to a whole new level. You will not only have a warm spot to wait for the Aurora to show up, but also have a great local tour guide with you. He or she will be able to answer all of your questions and provide you with additional information.

After a convenient pick up from your hotel inside the city limits, we will leave the city lights behind us in our spacious vans ensuring each guests comfort.

PLEASE NOTE that visibility of the northern lights (aurora) is not guaranteed. It is a natural phenomenon we have no control over and no refunds will be given if the aurora cannot be seen.

Please make sure to dress appropriate. It can get very cold during our dark winter nights.

We do not have Cameras or cold weather gear for rent. Please make sure to make arrangements before your tour starts.
Not recommended for children under 4 years of age.

We love the experience immensely. Did not expected to see sequential appearance of Aurora Borealis in the breath of sky above. It was chilly but having the lodge close by to warm up was so appreciated. We love that Kevin our guide offered to take pictures for us and gave us stories about Fairbanks along the way. We are also grateful that he made a stop at the pipeline viewpoint for the first glimpse of the Aurora that evening.

The lodge was very comfortable and our host very gracious. Mok worked very hard at tracking the aurora activity while we waited for the Northern Lights to make an appearance. It was a spectacular show.

Gina was our tour guide and she was awesome! We saw an amazing display of the northern lights. She was very knew things about the lights, the science, the ways to make sure you saw the best display that we had not heard before. The lodge was casual, laid back and relaxing and all emphasis was on having a great viewing experience. This was a bucket item for us and it did not disappoint - The lights were so great - even when we were told the number was low to be able to view anything - we still got an absolutely awesome show! Highly recommend
