What To Expect

Texas Capitol

Your tour begins with a visit to the Texas Capitol - the seat of government for the state of Texas. This iconic Italian Renaissance Revival style building was constructed between 1882 and 1888 and is the sixth-tallest state capitol. Our guide will take you on a guided tour around the grounds, where you can admire the Heroes of Alamo, the Confederate Soldiers Monument, and the Volunteer Firemen Monument, among other notable monuments and statues.

Greetings from Austin Mural

Next, we'll take you to see some of the famous murals in Austin, including the "I love you so much" mural and the "Greetings from Austin" mural. These vibrant and colorful murals are an Instagrammer's paradise and have become iconic symbols of the city.

Barton Springs Pool

Afterwards, we'll head to Barton Springs, a natural spring-fed pool in the heart of the city, where you can take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy a relaxing walk around the area. We'll then make a surprise food stop, where you can indulge in some delicious local cuisine and treats.

DO NOT BOOK! 10 quick points. 1.) Told us to meet at a place where the parking is expensive. 2.) No called / no showed us. 3.) Text communication in the app was ignored. 4.) They hung up on me when I called. 5.) Someone finally called and their remedy was a free tour on the day I was leaving or a refund. 6.) No consideration or compensation for a future tour somewhere else was offered. 7.) expensive parking not reimbursed. 8.) They think refunding me for a tour they didn’t deliver is sufficient enough to address the lost vacation time, mileage, and parking costs. 9.) stay away. 10.) RUN. Stay away!

Excellent experience. The State Capitol is a gorgeous building! The views from on top of Mount Bonnell were absolutely lovely. Owen is not only very knowledgeable about the area but also has a great breadth of history. He’s an excellent tour guide!
