Alex our tour guide knew lots of fun stories about weird happenings which he could not confirm. I enjoyed the evening and learned later some of the same stories so they must be Austin legends. An enjoyable way to spend an evening. Went longer than the hour and including walking several blocks. A good way to see 6th Street for a short and very loud few minutes.

What a great tour! We were happy to find a tour that wasn't astronomically priced! Austin is a bumping high energy town and because of that you end up paying a lot to do anything. This tour was well priced, exciting, and spooky! What more could you ask for?!

We were excited when we were texted information telling us how to spot our tour guide holding a lantern at the meeting point. For me, that immediately set the tone for a good tour. I also nerded out a little bit for the experience and opted for the EMF reader. Each spot our guide showed us had very interesting stories giving the city more character to its history. We were unfortunately unable to go into these places as some were very active businesses. Our time was on a Saturday the weekend before Halloween-LOTS of people dressed up celebrating. We were able to hear him above the activity around us. There were a couple spots that the reader went off which I made note of to pass along to him. I would have definitely put it to work inside the stops we went to. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves & recommend this activity to hear another side of Austin and get some walking in! For the company, keep using that lantern! Put it on a shepherdā€™s hook & carry it throughout the tour. A reaperā€™s cloak would add a nice touch too.

Hi AJZ! Thank you so much for the feedback! We definitely think the lantern is a plus for finding your guide and for setting the tone! We're glad you had a fun time and we hope to be able to go inside more buildings in the future!
