Overview

The Austin Haunted Pub Crawl is our 21+ tour that takes a deep dive into the city during the Old West days, going from bar to bar to look at some of the weird and unusual history and death the city offers. It is meant to showcase the city's history during the days of the Old West and the ghosts that remain. Please keep in mind that Austin is not an open-container city.

What To Expect

O. Henry Home & Museum

At this stop guests will hear about the former home of O. Henry. Please note that we do not enter this location.

Friends Bar

Guests will have the opportunity to purchase a drink at Friends Bar and will learn about the haunted history of Buffalo Billiards.

The Driskill

Guests will have the chance to purchase a drink at the Driskill Bar and learn about the haunted history of The Driskill Hotel.

Cancellation Policy

We were a small 2 total people) I. The tour...but it was interesting and we had a good time. I would recommend doing this on a Friday or Saturday night...needed more people.

Hearing about Austin's Haunted past was interesting. However, the tour guide only gave us 15 minutes at each bar to order AND consume our drinks. At one bar, it took about 15 minutes to get the drinks, so by the time we got them it was time to leave. We had to knock them back or leave them. I'm not a person who enjoys slamming expensive drinks. One of the stops was a generic bar that had no history, and no real Austin connection. Hopefully in the future, the tour guides will adjust their timing to give people a reasonable amount of time to finish their drinks.

We had a blast on the pub tour! Dan was a great tour guide - telling us the haunted history, answering questions and generally making it fun. We did this on our first night in Austin and then went back the next night to spend longer at all of the bars - perfect way to see the sights.
