I booked a tour through Tripadvisor well in advance of my April 3, 2022 visit to Austin - the tour was scheduled for 11am but nobody showed up. The reservation confirmation and payment receipt were emailed to me as expected so I never thought there might be a problem. After waiting 15 minutes, I called and texted the two numbers I found - no response. I then found a number for Viator and spoke to a representative - she called the tour company, got no answer and promptly refunded my money. While I certainly appreciated that aspect of this fiasco, I was only going to be in Austin for the day and by then all the other tours I might have been interested in were booked. Totally disappointing!
