Overview

This Segway adventure will include historical and cultural information about Austin. All groups start off with an orientation followed by one segway rider training. It only takes a few minutes to feel comfortable controlling your Segway, yet we like for you to practice prior to the start of the tour. When all group members give the thumbs up, an experienced guide leads the group to the best spots in town. Choose from 3 departure times throughout the day, each one with a slightly different focus. No matter which one you choose, you'll see the best that Austin has to offer.

Michael was a fun tour guide, and because we had only four people total in our group, it was easy to hear him and ask questions. There was only a little history as part of the narrative, but he did explain some landmarks briefly and had fun stories. We were satisfied that the time spent was worth our ticket price.

I book the Austin Capitol Segway Tour during our recent trip to Austin, TX. My wife didn't want to do it as she felt is was dangerous. So we went ahead on a Saturday hoping to reduce the danger. After getting a quick introduction to using a Segway my wife and I began our adventures. Being the husband I was thinking this was a no brainer only to find our my wife is twice as good using the Segway than I am. Lesson learn was we had a GREAT Adventure and my wife kindly reminds me how easy using the Segway was in Austin. The instructor was top notch and did an excellent job showing us Austin.
