All of our guides have individual and unique ties to the Amish community and have always enjoyed showing off the “true” Lancaster County. This rich, immersive experience is personally designed to give you a rare window into the authentic Amish culture. Every meal is an amazing experience!

* Please note this tour is not confirmed until we secure an Amish Family host.
* The PA Department of Agriculture requires us to inform you in advance that these meals are prepared in private homes, which are not licensed or inspected.

Appreciated our driver/guide. She was very kind, very informative! Our preference would have been to eat at a farm with food prepared from scratch. Not that this was bad - that was what we envisioned and hoped for rather than ehat we got. Overall very nice experience 🙂

Thanks for the review. We appreciate your feedback and mentioning your guide. While some of our Amish hosts are farmers, some are not, which reflects the Amish community generally. All of our hosts do prepare their meals from scratch.

The meal was out of this world! I mentioned that the meal itself was worth the drive from Wisconsin. The Amish lady that hosted us was very polite and willing to answer questions.
