Last week my sister and I were fortunate to enjoy dinner at the home of Verna and her three sons. The meal was wonderful and it was such a pleasure to share food and conversation with this friendly and engaging family. Phil, our loKal tour guide, did a great job of directing the conversation so that we could learn more about the Amish way of life. His friendships and connections with members of the community were invaluable in making this a very relaxed and enjoyable evening. We definitely will repeat this experience and will seek out other loKal experiences when we return to Lancaster. My sister and I agreed that this was a highlight of our trip. Tina - May 2019

My fiance, myself and my 9 year old daughter all live within 30 minutes of Lancaster and have experienced most of the Amish experiences (which are not really authentic), but this experience was different, I finally had the opportunity to sit down to a home cooked meal by a wonderful Amish woman and have a great conversation with the family. My 9 year old loved joining the kids in a soccer game after dinner. Phil was our guide and was so knowledgeable about the area and the Amish. I can't wait to take more of LoKals excursions. What a great way to spend the evening! Thanks so much Phil!
