5-stars all around! The friendliness of the staff from the ticket office to the country store to the restaurant was top notch. We were greeted with smiling faces and every single employee was over-the-top helpful. Talk about southern hospitality! The entire facility is very well-maintained and the self-guided tour is laid out perfectly. Everything was informative without becoming redundant or overwhelming. Videos throughout each section were informative without being lengthy, giving just the right amount of information one can process in a sitting. We learned A LOT on our recent visit. The items in the country store (with the exception of clothing) are all priced really reasonably. You can sample their different sauces while there. The food in the restaurant is simple, southern food and it's delicious! The bottling line was unavailable when we visited, which was disappointing, but that just means we need to come back some other time! We highly recommend a visit here. It's a true hidden treasure!

The entire experience is well worth going out of your way when you visit the southern Louisiana area. If you're a fan of the product or if you enjoy history of manufacturing of iconic American products then this is definitely for you. Everything is laid out 1st rate for your enjoyment and the gift shop alone is worth going to. The Jungle garden experience is other worldly and is a must. Put this on your bucket list and you won't be dissapointed.

We came with kids, mainly to see the bottling factory, a long trip from North Carolina, essentially 15 hours. The island is beautiful and the jungle garden is really good except the Buddha is out of place and shouldn’t be in the middle of Catholic country. Paid full price for factory tour but stop 7 which is the bottling part of the tour and most interesting was closed because of “Covid.” Ridiculous. And they didn’t tell us and they didn’t offer lower price. We were all very disappointed.
