Join us one hour before the show for pre-show magic, free popcorn, and our new "Crack the Code Challenge", a fun scavenger hunt that will take you around our historic building.

The Magicians Agency Theatre is located at 217 Alamo Plaza. 78205. Our entrance is on Crockett street.

I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. We were greeted by the doorman who had a list of names for reservations, no ticket needed. We took the elevator to the 4th floor and we’re greeted by Scott, the Owner, who knew who we were when we got out. I had a VIP ticket so he said he’d show me to my seat. I asked about the bathroom first and he actually took me downstairs to show me where it was (the one on the 4th floor was taken). When I got back he showed me to my seat in the front row. Oh, and they give you a coupon sheet as a way to hold your seat while getting drinks. They had free Coke (soda/pop) and popcorn. They have a little scavenger hunt thing which I, unfortunately, didn’t have time to do. They also gave me a website to go to to learn magic tricks. The magicians, especially Matt Marcy, were hilarious and amazing. I have no idea how they do these slight of hand tricks. They are awesome. I was surprised to see Scott sweeping the floor as well. They have plenty of staff but to see an Owner doing the “little” jobs really impresses me. It shows he has pride in his place of business and I love that. I can’t wait yo go back.

Super fun for adults and kids! Both my kids and I had an awesome time. They were comical and interactive.

Took our 8 and 10 yr old kids and had a blast. The tricks were exceptional and the magicians all clever and (half) witty. ;) It’s a great evening and your kids will be amazed. While your kids will certainly remember the Alamo, this is the piece of San Antonio they’ll rave about. It’s a definite must see.
