I was lucky enough to be invited on this tour last week by a friend, and what a great experience! Rebecca is a font of knowledge - and imparts it all with a good bit of wit and humor, which makes it all the more fun. I am a lifelong Philadelphia, and also acquainted with a fair amount of Philly history, but I learned an awful lot about women who I sadly had never heard of - it really made me realize how much women have been shut out of history. We ventured pretty far afield - from earliest Colonial Philadelphia to now - but it was done at a great pace, and a nice route, so it never felt tiring or like it was too much to take in - you even get a snack halfway through! I would definitely recommend - whether you're new to the City or a visitor, or a native like me. I wish them much success with this endeavor!

We had such a great time on this tour. Both Rebecca and Joey are so passionate about the city, its history and sharing forgotten facts. Not your standard and boring tour. They are so easy-going and two hours went by so fast.

Rebecca did an amazing job discussing the women who made milestone contributions in health care and politics in Philadelphia in the Pay-As-You-Wish Womenā€™s Tour. Hope to go on another tour with Beyond the Bell soon!
